Bull Mastiff Puppy

If you would like to purchase a Bull mastiff Puppy, please, read as many online and printed resources on the breed as possible! In order to be a decent dog owner, a mere love of dogs is not enough. Owning a dog implies something more than just spending time or playing with him. Dogs require training, socialization, exercise, medical examinations, inoculations, special nutrition, and many other things. It takes a tremendous amount of knowledge, devotion, experience, time and investment to do all that properly.

No one argues that Bull Mastiff Puppies are cute and funny. Watching them playing and worrying at things is a great amusement. However, this is not for the rest of the life. Puppies become adults, and the load of responsibility grows along with the dog. Bull Mastiffs require positive and consecutive training and proper socialization. These dogs are naturally protective and dominant. Sooner or later, they will exhibit these traits, and here you’ve got to be on the alert not to let these behaviors escalate. Failure to overcome undesirable conduct on the dog’s side is likely to cause serious trouble in future. Poorly socialized dogs can be rambunctious and aggressive both toward animals and people. If your dog cannot abide by commands, he will lose control in a critical situation and you will not be able to stop him from mischief. Not infrequently, such incidents result in serious injuries and material damage, which, in turn, lead lawsuits and reimbursements.

Bull Mastiffs are hardy and powerful dogs, famous for their tough appearance and high intelligence level. Well trained and socialized Bull Mastiffs are kind-hearted, obedient and communicative dogs, never showing downright aggression even toward strangers. Bull Mastiff Puppies develop a tolerant and friendly attitude toward animals being raised along with them. Adult Bull Mastifs measure 23-26 inches high at the withers, and they have a short and smooth coat, which is black on the muzzle and fawn or red over the rest of the body.

The Bull Mastiff was developed in England in the mid- through late 1800s, originating as a cross between the English Mastiff and the Olde English Bulldogge. The Bull mastiff was bred for English land owners, who sought protection against intruders and poachers. The law of those days inflicted capital punishment on poachers, so estate owners needed a dog that could catch and hold culprits without doing much physical harm to them. The Bull Mastiff Puppy of today is not usually trained to perform any of such work.
